I am all settled in Mercy Medical Center. I have met a whole cast of people who may be important to my recovery. They have a very organized, well done program here. I have seen the doctor. I have even received flowers from the doctor!
I am done with all the yucky prep, have had my blood taken, have had an EKG, started antibiotics, and am as ready as I can be for surgery.
I spent the day with my mom and Nathan while going through all the pre-surgical requirements. I have talked to (and have seen) my little guys on FaceTime. They are anxious to have me home (and so am I)!
I am looking forward to being done and getting my recovery going. They’ll be coming to get me early in the morning. As always, your thoughts and prayers are appreciated!
