(1st photo about 1 year old – what a difference a year makes) Sitting at home, snowed in, with my 2 crazy little guys, on my first day “back” at work (and locked out of my PC, waiting for support to return my call). Complaining a bit, and yet, gloriously happy with the ‘inconvenience’ ofContinue reading “Monday, March 3, 2014”

Moving forward
Happy to have my port out this morning!
Stitch Free!
STITCH FREE! Back in a month for a ‘healing check’. And, Happy Birthday to my aunts, Valerie & Marie! You may be okay with your age, but I am in denial over it. Hope you had a great day (and thanks for spending part of yours driving my stitches to MD (again), Marie!)
Another Follow Up Vist & More Snow!
Had MOST of my stitches removed, but the doctor left 2 in so I have to make one more visit to Baltimore. Headed back to Charlottesville on the train, in a race against the snow storm! Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, juju, any and all positive vibes you have/are sent/sending. They worked! I am deliriously happy with the results of today’s surgery. And after some good rest, will be anxious to get recovery going! Thank you also to Nathan Young and my mom, Bonnie Heal Daly, for both being here with me. Continue reading “Thankful”

When I had my surgery back in March, the reason it turned intoContinue reading “Surgery: the nitty gritty”

Choo! Choo!
Here we go again! Headed up to Maryland to visit the Oncologic Surgeon one last time before game day next week. So glad I discovered the train – allows me to relax and be productive, while still making it up and back in one day for an appointment like this.
